6th Grade Study Hall Expectations
*BRING ALL NECESSARY MATERIALS TO STUDY HALL

***BE ON TIME: Since you are coming to study hall from PE or Chorus, you will need to grab a snack from Miss Rohrer’s room before you report to study hall. Snacks are usually in the hall on a cart right outside Miss Rohrer’s classroom. **
*ZERO TALKING. IF A STUDENT NEEDS TO TALK TO ANOTHER STUDENT ABOUT AN ASSIGNMENT, THEY MUST FIRST ASK THE TEACHER FOR PERMISSION TO SPEAK.
*The teacher will PUT ON the BOARD OR HAVE STUDENT WRITE IT ON THE BOARD WHAT THE AGENDA IS
*DISCUSS WITH CLASS AND ASK IF THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS
- **Work on any missing assignments or assignments that are due the next day. (Put first things first: Prioritize) **
- **Free read- If you need to take an AR test then you will need to do that in Mrs. TerHark’s room. If in Mr. Lindanman’s study hall, Mrs. Smith’s room, or Miss Rohrer’s room, please ask your teacher to come to Mrs. TerHark’s room. **
- Work in IXL- you can always work on your ELA and/or Math skills.
- **Guided Choice- if everything is completed and you still have time you could work on something from an exploratory class. **
- 3:10 p.m. you are allowed to play games on your iPad as long as it is handled appropriately.
- **Help wipe tables/desks and put chairs up at the end of day. Leave to go home when you are dismissed. **
